About H&H Bagels
New York City's most iconic bagel since 1972.
Real Food. Made to Order.
Located at 710 Montana Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90403, H&H Bagels operates as a bagel shop serving Santa Monica in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6 amβ3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Santa Monica is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Monica follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Good bagels. Friendly staff. Need to work on caper distribution on bagels. They are often clumped up in one section and I have to move the capers around to be even on the bagel

Stopped in for my first time today and overall had a great experience and delicious bagel. The ordering system here is a little bit clunky and disorganized. Also after we ordered the guy at the register disappeared so we pretty much stood there for 10 minutes while the line built up until someone had to come over and check us out, aside from that experience was nice. Parking can be a bit tricky, but we were able to find a metered street spot directly in front of the restaurant and opted to get everything to go, but they do have many tables inside to sit down and eat so dining in is an option. The menu is pretty large and they have all sorts of bagel shop classic options on there. The staff was friendly and aside from waiting to pay everything that we ordered was made very quickly. For this visit, we chose the Lox bagel, the Avocado, Egg, & Cheese and the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Bagel. We also tried the Blueberry Bagel with the Cookie Cream Cheese, and that was especially sweet and fantastic. All of the bagels we ordered were fresh and each of the three were very good and we would definitely order them again. Overall, it was a good experience and I plan to be back again in the near fu

Iβve been looking for a classic NYC bacon egg and cheese in LA. This is the spot. Great spot. Great bagels. Great staff. Great vibe. Whoever had the idea to bring this spot to life deserves high five or at least a very firm handshake. Well done.

We tried H&H bagels for the first time, fresh ingredients and food in general, with a good bagel quality. The staff was really good (had to wait for a few minutes for my order and they mentionned it in advance and gave me another notice about my order while preparing it). My avocado bagel was pretty good, however my wife was not impressed with her salmon one (The Leo) Else than that I cannot really compare price wise but I have in mind they are a bit expensive compare to other alternatives I tried in the past. Overall a four stars-rating for fresh food and friendliness as well as a nice location, you can also eat inside

I have never been to H&H Bagels in NY, so I cannot compare. But I did see about this place online and was super curious to try. I have been disappointed with some bagel places around here, and I have my specific spots that I like. Anyway, so I wanted to try this one. I had already passed by it a few times and it was always crowded with long line. So, we went on a weekend, it was crowded, but we probably waited 10-15min. It can still be considered as a lot, but I wanted to try. Inside it gets a bit loud, and the way to order is not very easy as you have a big glass between you and the worker. You kind of have to yell to make yourself heard - imagine when you have to name a bunch of different ingredients. After that, you go to the register to pay where you need to repeat your order again. I just feel itβs a bit messy as a system. And, then you need to find the person who took your order. Now comes the time to try the food. The bagel is fairly big with quite a lot of food inside. Butβ¦ it was a bit blend in terms of taste to be honest. I did ask for toasted bagels, but if they actually did it, it was very light so that was disappointing as well. And, I donβt have much more to say
